I had been looking for a new brand of sunglasses when I saw the Linder’s talking about Wavy Label sunglasses, so I decided to check them out.
Wavy Label Spawn Sunglass Review
They came in the mail earlier this week and I have worn them on two fishing trips already. I can already say that I will be a return customer with Wavy Label sunglasses.
Are Wavy Label Sunglasses Comfortable?
First, they are comfortable and don’t hurt my nose or ears. I have a hard time finding good glasses that are a good fit and don’t hurt after a day on the water. Yesterday I fished for six hours without an issue.
How Well I Can See
I have another brand of sunglasses that I have fished for the past seven or eight months and I haven’t been as happy as I could be with my view. They are great for blocking out the sun but made it too dark to see into the water very well. I tried several different pairs with the same result.

Seeing Into the Water
These Wavy Label sunglasses seem to brighten up my picture and view into the water. The lenses are tinted blue on the outside but have an amber lens color on the inside. This still protects my eyes but enhances my view into the water a lot.
The water we have been fishing has been stained from a lot of spring melt and runoff so I am looking forward to seeing some really clear water situations when the spawn is happening in the next month.
Seeing What I’m Doing
The older I get the more I find myself with a little worse low-light vision. I don’t know how many of you can relate, but I found myself removing my sunglasses to tie on a bait. With the way these glasses brightened up my view, I was able to tie on baits without taking off my glasses. Anything that saves time on the water is a good thing in my opinion.
The Value
Wavy Label sunglasses come with a lifetime warranty for replacement if they should break. It is not a lost sunglass replacement like some, but the level of quality is higher. I believe the replacement price is $30 but you can check the website for more information as that can change with time.
These glasses are also affordable in the world of quality fishing glasses at $60 a pair at the time of this review. You can get cheaper glasses for sure, but not with the quality I see in these. With the improved view in the water and the comfortable fit backed by a lifetime warranty, I see these as a great value.
The Options of Wavy Label Sunglasses
I opted for the polycarbonate lenses, but they also have an option for glass lenses in the Wavy Label Spawn Sunglasses.
They also have multiple color options and lens configurations.
My Recommendation
I haven’t written any other reviews of sunglasses and if I find better ones for the dollar I spend I will let you know. These ones have definitely surprised me so far. Grab a pair and see for yourself.
